Fundraising Resources
The purpose of this page is to give individuals/players/teams the resources they need to reach out and raise money. Make sure you take the time to learn about our Community Partners this year so you can help communicate their work while fundraising. If you have any questions about fundraising or need support - reach out to Ray Paul Biron.
Don’t forget to check if your employer has matching programs - this could 2-3x your donation!

Hi X! I’m in a Dartmouth wiffle ball tournament that’s raising funds for the New Bedford Star Kids, a program that provides educational opportunities for high-risk, low-income children who have a parent with a history of incarceration and/or substance abuse. No pressure at all, but if you’d like to donate here’s the link: https://tinyurl.com/mryznznh. Make sure to select my team, [insert team name], when you donate (we’re trying to raise the most money!).

Hi X!
Hope all is well! [If applicable, a sentence about your connection with them]. I’m participating in a local wiffle ball tournament (featured in the Standard-Times last year) that’s raising funds for New Bedford Star Kids, a program that provides educational opportunities for high-risk, low-income children who have a parent with a history of incarceration and/or substance abuse. No pressure at all, but if you’d like to donate here’s the link. Make sure to select my team, [insert team name], when you donate (we’re trying to raise the most money!).
If you’d like to learn more about the tournament, check out the information page here. Theresa Street, a local non-profit, hosts the event. Let me know if you have any questions!
Sincerely,
